Storage of your data
112BHV understands that you do not want to share your personal and study information with everyone. Therefore, 112BHV handles this information carefully. 112BHV complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 112BHV does need your data in order to assist you properly. In this statement, 112BHV explains which data 112BHV needs from you and what 112BHV uses it for.
Storage of your data
112BHV stores the personal data that 112BHV receives from you or your employer. This includes, for example, data that 112BHV receives during the registration process for a course (even if the process is aborted), when requesting a brochure or cost overview, when signing up for a newsletter, or if you contact 112BHV by phone or email. We collect and store, among other things, the following personal data:
- First and last name, address (for sending course materials), and email address and other contact details.
- Information regarding the course for which you have registered, including payment details.
- Your feedback about the course and other information you provide.
- Personal data in the context of your course, such as your attendance, any results, whether you have successfully completed the course, and userID (a pseudonym provided by Plusport) and password (hashed)
Use of your data
112BHV uses your personal data for the following purposes:
- Registration and administrative processing of your participation in the training you have chosen.
- Provision of the training you have chosen.
- Conducting analyses so that 112BHV can improve its services.
- Providing advice on a training to follow.
- Keeping you informed about all our services and products.
- Sending you the documents/information you requested and responding to your inquiries.
- Complying with the education-related laws and regulations applicable to us as prescribed by the (national) government.
More information
- 112BHV anonymizes the personal data that 112BHV uses for analyses.
- In our analyses, you are therefore unidentifiable. 112BHV may make your personal data available to its accreditation organizations. In connection with obtaining and maintaining accreditation for a course, 112BHV is legally obliged to occasionally provide the committees responsible for accreditation with access to personal data. 112BHV limits this to a minimum.
- In some cases, 112BHV works with external service providers, such as teachers and examination agencies. They may only use your data to perform those services that are in the interest of your course. They may not contact you for other purposes or share your data with other parties.
- Finally, it may be that 112BHV is legally obliged by government authorities or other parties to share your data. In that case, 112BHV only shares the strictly necessary data.
Newsletter and subscriber database
With our newsletter, we inform interested parties about news in the field of our services and everything related to it. 112BHV will only add your email address to its list of subscribers if you give permission for this. Every newsletter contains a link through which you can unsubscribe and/or adjust your preferences.
PlusPort and your data
PlusPort is your personal learning environment or so-called Learning Management System (LMS). Within this environment, you can see details of your enrolled training and everything surrounding it, such as the program, study progress, dates and locations, and the e-learning in its entirety.
If you are an individual platform user or a client-specific platform user, we process your personal data to give you access to the LMS and participate in the training you have chosen, to send training materials and practical information, to issue a certificate of participation, to conduct an exam, and to invoice.
We process your personal data in order to carry out a request, an assignment, or a contract. For example, to be able to grant access to the LMS to individual users, we execute the contract concluded with you. When we grant you access to the LMS as a customer-specific platform user, we do this on the basis of our legitimate interest, namely enabling you to register for mandatory, customer-paid training. Of course, you always have the option to object to the use of your personal data within the LMS. If you would like more information on how to object to such data processing, we advise you to contact your employer.
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. If you are an individual user, we keep your personal data until you request us to delete it, or after 50 years. This is to be able to support you in demonstrating previously received training. If you are a client-specific platform user, your employer determines how long we may keep your data. We keep some data longer if we are legally required to do so. For example, consider the seven-year fiscal retention requirement. After the retention period has expired, we delete your personal data or ensure that it is no longer identifiable or traceable.
Security and retention period of your data
112BHV protects your personal data against misuse and access by unauthorized persons through the techniques that are currently available for this purpose. 112BHV retains your personal data for as long as legally required. In the interest of improving its services, 112BHV may retain your data for a longer period, but in that case, 112BHV will always anonymize the data.
Viewing, correcting, updating, and deleting your data
You may always view and/or correct or update your personal data.
You can ask 112BHV to delete your data and no longer use it. In some cases, you can indicate that you want 112BHV to use your data in a limited manner. 112BHV can also convert digital data, such as a registration confirmation or study agreement, into a document that you can print.
Do you want to perform any of the above actions? Then please contact us by phone at 035-760 5112 or by email at info@112bhv.nl. 112BHV will respond as soon as possible, but in any case within 4 weeks, to your request. If you want your data to be deleted, 112BHV will first check whether this is legally (already) allowed. If 112BHV is not yet allowed by law to delete your data, 112BHV will inform you and indicate the earliest moment when your data can be deleted.
Complaint
If you do not agree with the way we handle your data, you can file a complaint with us (click here for our contact details). You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
