About this training

Do you want to learn how to provide first aid safely and effectively in emergency situations? With this First Aid training course, you develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond quickly and correctly during accidents and medical emergencies. You learn how to assess injuries and support victims until professional help arrives.

The training consists of an official Red Cross e-learning module followed by a practical session. During the e-learning, you learn to recognise different injuries and medical conditions, such as unconsciousness, stroke, burns and fractures. After completing the online theory, you join a 4-hour practical session where you practise first aid actions such as CPR, using an AED, applying bandages and helping someone who is choking.

During this training, you learn how to provide first aid safely and effectively in emergency situations. You develop practical skills to recognise injuries, assess situations and respond quickly when someone needs help. The theory is directly applied during the practical session.

After this training, you know how to provide first aid safely and effectively in emergency situations. You can assess injuries, respond quickly and support victims until professional help arrives. You also know how to act in situations involving choking, unconsciousness, severe bleeding, burns, fractures and stroke.

During the practical session, you are assessed by a Red Cross certified instructor on the practical skills you perform. After successfully completing the assessment, you receive a recognised digital First Aid certificate. The certificate is valid for 2 years.
